Care Guide for Micro Terrariums
The micro terrarium contains live Leucobryum Glaucum moss, which was hydrated the moment it was placed in the bottle.
1. Water – only when needed
Every few weeks it will need a spray of water (preferably using a medium sprayer and distilled water) when the moss turns light green to white. 1-2 sprays will be enough to rehydrate the moss.
2. Light – the secret ingredient of a healthy terrarium
Place the terrarium in a bright spot, but keep it out of direct sunlight. Strong rays can overheat the interior and damage the plants. Indirect or filtered light is perfect for the moss to maintain its beauty.
3. Ventilation – a small weekly habit
Once a week, open the lid and let the terrarium breathe for 1-2 minutes. This step prevents excess humidity and maintains the balance of the indoor environment. Don’t forget to put the lid back on after airing.
